By creating an account or using Academy's services, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. These Terms form a legally binding agreement between you and Gojan Academy.
⚡ If you use Academy on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you are authorised to bind that organisation to these Terms.
If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not access or use our Services.
2. User Accounts
To access certain features you must register for an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
- Maintain the security of your password and account credentials.
- Notify Academy immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.
- Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account.
- Not share account credentials with any third party.
Age Requirements
You must be at least 13 years of age to use our Services. Users under 18 must have parental or guardian consent.
3. Platform Use
Academy grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use our platform for personal, non-commercial educational purposes only.
This licence does not include resale of our services, collection of course data, creation of derivative works, or use of automated data-gathering tools.
4. Courses & Content
When you enrol in a course, you receive a personal, non-transferable licence to access and view the content for educational purposes only.
Certificates
Certificates are issued upon successful completion of all course requirements. Academy reserves the right to revoke certificates if these Terms are violated.
5. Payments & Refunds
Pricing
Prices are displayed in Indian Rupees (INR) inclusive of applicable taxes. Academy may change prices at any time with notice.
Subscriptions
Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period. You may cancel anytime from account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period.

6. Intellectual Property
All content, features, and functionality on the platform — including text, graphics, logos, videos, and software — are owned by Academy, Inc. or our licensors and protected by intellectual property laws.
You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or publicly display any material without prior written permission from Academy.
7. User-Generated Content
By submitting content such as reviews, forum posts, or assignments, you grant Academy a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce, and display that content in connection with our Services.
You warrant that your content does not violate any third-party rights and complies with applicable laws. Academy may remove any content that violates these Terms.
8. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
- Use our Services for any illegal or unauthorised purpose.
- Share, distribute, or reproduce copyrighted course content without permission.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of our systems.
- Use automated tools to scrape or crawl the platform.
- Harass, abuse, or harm other users or Academy staff.
- Post spam, phishing content, or malicious code.
- Circumvent or disable security features of the platform.
- Use another user's account without permission.
Violations may result in immediate account termination and potential legal action.
9. Disclaimers
OUR SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.
Academy does not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that defects will be corrected. Any reliance on information provided through our Services is at your own risk.
10. Limitation of Liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ACADEMY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES.
Academy's total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid to Academy in the past twelve (12) months, or ₹500 — whichever is greater.
11. Termination
Academy may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without cause, if we believe you have violated these Terms. You may close your account at any time from account settings.
Upon termination, your licence to use the Services ceases immediately. Provisions relating to intellectual property, disclaimers, and liability survive termination.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. You consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts located in Chennai, Tamil Nadu for any disputes arising from these Terms.
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
